“As the Sun Rises”

Two of the most mesmerizing things I’ve ever seen are when the sun rises and when the sun sets. There’s just something mystical almost like a fantasy the way the sunlight kisses one side of objects and how the shadows hug the other side. Here’s my homage to these magical moments. Oh, and Happy Friday!!

This is an exploration using SideFX’s vellum solver as well as the latest sample of the new procedural approach I’m developing to create believable, knitted CG fabric using Autodesk Maya. More to come!
